I've signed up for a tipping service - free so long as you open up a specific betting account.

So far so good. Used a few on Saturday and the net result was break even. Backed up yesterday and using a few bonus bets was up $70 for the day.

Have backed up again today, be interesting to see how it goes.

They provide 1 roughie & 1 best bet each day, on the weekends multi's as well.

Up date here both of yesterdays tips did nothing.

In this for the long term though.

If they are suggesting multi's then I suspect they wont be profitable long term

Have experience with them and wouldnt bother again, but maybe they've improved (and I guess it never hurts to check out free tips)

Nup, track condition, the jockeys "Withdrew their services" for the day.

South Australia's meeting at Strathalbyn on Wednesday was postponed after jockeys withdrew their services citing safety concerns.

Stewards, track staff and jockeys inspected a couple of sections of the track before they made the decision to postpone the meeting after Race 2.

The winner of Race 2, Jus Tin, pulled up lame with an injury to the offside fore tendon, with jockey Dom Tourneur highlighting that the track may have played a part.

"We had jumpouts on it the other day and it probably opened up the track in sections. We are going to have to monitor it throughout the day," Tourneur said post-race.

"That horse then, he put his foot in a bit of a spot and that's probably the reason he has pulled up lame because he was good before the race."
