GAWLER races cancelled

This Wednesdays Gawlers races have been cancelled and transferred to Morphettville
I have posted this in case anyone has forward plans to attend Gawler on the day

I have heard from a very reliable source why the meeting has been moved
Low Costs is the reason

can you confirm this for me Mal? I can't find any info on any of the websites around the place. I'm intending on going to Gawler Wednesday so if you can confirm it it would be greatly appreciated.

On the RISA site it says the following:

Elsewhere on the site it doesn't say anything about a transferred meet but it does say:

Put it this way I'm glad I read this site otherwise I would've rocked up to Gawler to an empty racecourse!

i just spoke to my father & i thought i'd tell him something he didn't know & he said he heard it on the radio this morning, he as mal mentioned said it was for the low costs & it has defineately been changed to morphettville

Can definately confirm
Gawler is having Low Cost problems, and unfortunately have transferred the meeting to Morphetville
The low cost problem is envisaged at this stage as being a short term problem, and hopefully will be eradicated completely

Johnny Letts apparently also confirmed it on TABradio this morning
Lettsy also sited the Low Costs being the reason

Can someone confirm that the races have been cancelled again today??

NZ TAB has them as Abandoned, UNITAB, S-TAB. NSWTAB still open for betting.....
