AFL Grand Final

We have reached that last Saturday in September once again. This match is set up to be an absolute cracker. For St.Kilda it is unfinished buisness. But they are going to have t get past the best side all year in Collingwood. There are two key factors to this match, preparation and goalkicking. With the Saints making the GF last year they will now have the critical experience about how to handle the weeks build up and emotions throughout the game. The other key is how straight can either team kick, but more so the Magpies The weeks leading up into the finals and the first finals their accuracy was terrible. With the pressure of the ocassion, nerves will get the better of some and with the Magpies still relatively young, it could be them. As we have seen, once it starts it's hard to stop. Although both teams want to bring the sliverware home as much as the other, the Saints will have that extra burning desire after last years heartbreak. Collingwood have lost 17 of their last 20 GF's, St. Kilda have beaten them 4 out of the last 5 times. The other interesting stat is in the last 10 years, the team who wins the GF lost to their opponent in the previous meeting between the two sides, and in Rd 16 it was the Magpies who came out on top. If the Saints do get up, it is someone like Lenny Hayes will lead the troops.
Grand Final tips:
•0.75unit - St.Kilda 1-24 @ $4.35 (S)
•0.25unit - Lenny Hayes Norm Smith Medalist @ $13 (S)

Going to use this tactic 4 todays game
the market is in rounmd terms at
CO 1-40
SK 2-90
I think the side that gets a break early will win[derrrrr]
Lets say a 3 goal lead to either side early
The market on Betfair might be
CO up by 18 points
CO $1-25
SK $4-20
NO BET WATCH THE GAME
SK up by 18 points
CO $1-70
SK $2-30
BACK SK
And thats when I get on the best defensive unit in the comp at the $2-30
CO invariably thrash teams with early leads
SK invariably defend thier leads and only do enough to win

Just for interest sake I have taken:
Sidebottom to kick the first goal.
Collingwood to win by 33-34 points.
Dale Thomas for Norm Smith.

Spare a thought for my friend
His bet on the g/f
C0-C0-C0-C0 to lead all the way odds $2-32
He was $396 richer nearly all day , now he is $300 poorer
His response, NO MORE
Spare a thought for the 1-39 punters who all lost
A grand Final to remember

So if I bet $50 on Saints to win @ $2.65, are you saying that I should get a return of $66.25?

$66-25 is correct for head to head bets
A LATEMALish profit of $16-25
Premiership bets are carried over to next week without a result

That's a cracking question! I would suggest perhaps a half dividend unless he gets it again this week?

I reckon they'll pay the full dividend. After all you did get the Norm Smith and Premiership double.
(Part of the risk for the bookies that multiple combos could occur)
