It begins. $2500 bank.
Geelong Jockey Challenge
$300 Newitt @ $3.90 Unitab
$250 AOJ @ $4.60 Centrebet
$20 Symons $46.00 Unitab
Goulburn Jockey Challenge
$40 Angland @ $5.50 Unitab
$30 Ford @ $14 Unitab
$30 O'Hara $12 Sportingbet
Mackay Jockey Challenge
$20 May-Pye @ $61 Unitab
$25 AOJ @ $21 Sportingbet
$715 outlay on day one is a bit rich, but I had large cracks at Newitt/AOJ because they are clear OVERS/MISTAKES.
Remaining bank: $1785

Nice one with Essington.
Big finish to the JC at Geelong... your close to a massive collect dodgy! Both AOJ and Newitt tied on 4 with one race to go. Symons can still win as well...

Back Stage would've won with a better barrier, came in 4th or 5th but was 3 wide the way.
Looking the goods at Geelong & Goulburn looks OK too.

Angland wins.
JC bets: -$405 (Went too hard on Newitt/AOJ because of mistakes but didn't pay off - in the long run that will pay off by going hard at mistakes)
Racing: + $100
Bank after day one - $2195

Got a pretty handy system going.
3 winners from past 3 blackbookers in Melbourne
- Backwhereibelong
- Muir
- Fairfield Flame
The 3 had a bit in common.
All came from Saturday races and all were making up a bit of late ground over middle disance races.
