Not sure if there is a topic thread on the brownlow yet!
From Sportsbet, our wonderful sponsors!
Last week, whilst watching RIchmond smash the Power at AAMI i was looking at the odds for the brownlow at the bookie, and noticed they didnt have Barlow up there. I got him quoted and he was paying $201 for the win and $51 for the place. So iv chucked $10 on him for the place for a nice $500 profit!!! THe placing odds the same as what he is paying to win on Sportsbet, the TAB and also Sportingbet!!

It was seal!
I couldnt believe it! When he wasnt up on the board when Kane Cornes was there payin $81, i had to get a quote!!!
I got on him before he pulled out of last weeks game so his price could change. But also freo in adelaide, that may effect the prices of the freo players simply because the bookies would get more bets on the freo players and therefore make them shorter? thats my train of thought anyways!
Hopefully the $10 i put on him will bring back a $500 profit

He is damn good odds after 2 quiet one.
My only problem with Barlow, is he was BOG first 2 games, but may get over shadowed because he was an unknown and Sandilands dominated, so he could steal the 3 votes on each occassion!

Barlow interesting one as he may have got at least 2 votes on Saturday and probably got 3 against West Coast but as you say, will the 'unknown' factor hurt him?

Anyone know of any sites that allow you to multi up team votes? Centrebet used to, but don't anymore (or maybe yet). Made a packet last year and wanted to get some futures in so it can be layed off later in the year.

Had a couple of small investments last night, figured half way through you got a decent form line and room for some good games in the run home.
Goddard $15
Montagna $67
Watson $126
Hodge $10
Franklin for Coleman $26

montagna is super value IMO but the saint boys may have some trouble with vote stealing as reiwolt would have polled plenty early, hayes and dal santo are noted vote getters and goddard having a ssuper year they will have a pretty big spread.
sandilands is also great value

LOL thanks to Seal betting and another great game by Barlow im liking this bet even more.
What a story this would be if he were to win. Possibly the biggest story to come since the AFL was a true national comp. I really hope he gets it, not just for the money, but just as a story to talk about in years to come!
Chapman is definitely a big chance aswell, another BOG game on the weekend you would think (atleast 2 votes).
ODB, im hoping he will get 3 votes against WCE purely on the fact he got the medal that day, and hopefully the umpires took notice of that.
Get on the Barlow train!!!!!!!!
