The last 4 races at the Gold Coast Saturday night were Abandoned and those races transfered to Albion Park Tuesday. Nickdal was in one of those abandoned races and was also already entered to race at Albion Park Tuesday as well, hence it was in 2 races. Sure the trainer would have scratched the horse after its 1st run if it wasn't right to run in its 2 race. With the mrgin being reduced to only 8.5m in its 2nd race, maybe it needed 3 runs in the day to show its best.

they said if it pulled up well & passed the vets inspection it'd run in the 2nd race as there are no rules preventing it.....a race horse called canadian cheif won 2 races in one day a couple of weeks ago in queensland, there were 2 races between both of his runs & he won by 8.5 & 7.5 lengths ;)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway
