Postby mal » Sat Sep 19, 2009 9:36 am

GDP Sat night
R7-1 Count Dre Christo
All Paul Cavawizard has to do is push thru and hold the lead
Once that has been achieved, the champ will do the rest

CANT WINS
R3-6
R4-5
R7-4
R7-6

The protagonists will have thier say
" Geez Mal how dedja tip CDC."
'' Geez Mal how dedja tip another 4 cant wins."
And the illusionists will invest on the cant wins, they do every week ...

205 Cant wins have lost in a row
Only 2 have been placed
Ive layed a few on Betfair

Cant wins are purely a guide for punters who have not got the abundance of knowledge that LTP possesses at the red hots

And yet I must re-iterate there are still punters who invest in the cant wins

LTP on the ball again !
The Late Scratching of the Count certainly gave Quadrella punters anxiety
Fortunately the sub Massarua got up[phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww]

This raises a question
Should the TAB have sections or provisions on thier betting tickets to allow the punter to select a sub b4 placing a bet ?
For example having tickets with a section with the punter marking his preferred sub in each leg

I had a considerable amount of $$$ riding on Count De Christo in the last leg
When placing my bet I could have marked my ticket
4th leg sub
2 Massarua
OR
5 Piccolo Wil Wil
It would be nice to be in control of my destiny

A selected sub for each of all of the legs would be nice.

I had far too much riding on Massarua, and this time I [and others] were fortunate

Yes but Conte was first up and piccolo had the cold sit on his back, piccolo was driven in the death seat( not its capper, as its a week squid) with conte scratched allowed Massarua to find the front walk and rest of field wre cheap claimers

Mal your Not serious bout you SUB idea. It would make it impossible to work thing out. What bout if you have 5 in last leg 1 is scr which 1 does your extra unit go on? You don't know which 1 could be scr when you put the bet on.
Most Stupid suggestion yet.

I'm sure your had too much riding on Massarua, judging by some of your bf lays you like risking big $. Cos you would have to risk thousands to lay most of them for $10.

Firstly congratulations to all the MALtese people who read the previews
I believe today is MALtese Independence Day

Spare a thought lads
Ive spent $190 on a quad with Count Dre Christo one out in all combos
That was my choice to have a genuine $1-10 fav for a large Quaddie investment
To be left with $190 worth of Quads on a Sub was very disconcerting at the time
Lucks a fortune Massarua the sub won
But what if Piccolo Wil Wil won the race and I did my balls ?

Agree G my notion to have a sub marked on a betting ticket is far to complicated
BUT
A lot bloody fairer

Ina near perfect world it would be nice to able to nominate your own sub b4 the race starts
But that would be infinitely near impossible for a TAB to allow provision for this to happen
But then again we did put a man on the moon in 1969....

$5 X 205 is a lot more than MOST punters win per year.

Keep going Maltastic.
