AFL finals week 2

MALODDS

CO $2-50
AC $1-50
By virtue of a fluke draw [AGAIN in finals] and the 2 day extra break, AC should be to fit and fast for CO
CO will play defensive and prob lead AC for the first half
But the longer this game goes the crows will get better
CO 11-12
AC 14-14

WB $1-25
BL $4-50
Absolute morals
WB when they get beaten is becoz they have given sides big starts
BL are very slow beginners
WB should lead or be handy early and win this
WB 18-14
BL 10-7

We can all learn off Proffessor Duthys maxims
Its not the best team that wins all the time, the best preperation is a factor at times
AC are coming off thier bye v ES
CO have been hammered physically in a hard tough game by SK
AC 8 day break + a soft game v ES
CO 6 day break + a hard game v SK
Im sure Professor Dutchy will agree the real favs must be AC

That aside, I reckon the Pies will go up as favourite and I think most people would jump if $2.50 was given on them.

Some other factors - Collingwood home ground advantage is a bit heavier in this next game than today, Collingwood have the wood over the Crows at the best of times, but particularly in finals where I don't think they've lost to the Crows?

Im certainly not saying the Crows can't win or don't have some area's of advantage, but I just can't see them starting as short as you have them.

I wouldn't be so sure. Don't underestimate the finals experience of the Lions with Voss' kniowledge at the helm. Bulldogs are so over-rated. Both teams are poor starters, so it could be interesting to see who gains ascendancy early.

The Crows have come for a lot of support.

1001 Adelaide $1.68 (Previously $1.75)
1004 Collingwood $2.15

1101 Adelaide Under 39.5 Pts $2.25
1104 Collingwood Under 39.5 Pts $2.60
1201 Adelaide Over 39.5 Pts $5.50 I like this, if the Crows get on top I can see the Pies rolling over without the youthful legs of Pendlebury through the middle
1204 Collingwood Over 39.5 Pts $8.50

i f*cking hate the crows... but i also hate the pies... maybe i should just steer clear of the match then.

i guess im still pissed i had money on crows under 39.5 last week on theri own and in a multi and its the only bet i got wrong all week.
but its my own fault, bombers were never gettin that close!!

it was the only time i have ever bet on the crows.

I thought this bet was resonable value..... sportingbet

Scott Welsh vs Kurt Tippett - Most Goals 13 Sep 2009 19:00
Player Must Enter Field For Bets To Stand, Dead Heat Rule Applies.

Straight
Scott Welsh (2) 1.60

Kurt Tippett 2.28

Historical match-up ...so Tippett has to beat Welshs 2 goals from the 02 prelim final.....
so what it boils down to is this...

Thinking of Putting $500 on Tippet....

Tippet kicks 0 or 1 goal I lose... return = 0
Tippet kicks 2 goals I draw..... return = $570
Tippet 3 or more goals I win.... return =$ 1140

I reckon that is worth a punt..... any thoughts
BL are $1-00-2  thats not even $1-01

If it ends up as a defensive game, with Presti on Tippett he may be held to less than 2. That being said I'd probably feel fairly confident that he kicks two, and that the game will end up quite free flowing. Collingwood have gone in very short this week.
