I reckon Adelaide might be a chanc enext year, they are only going to improve with a relatively young list.

The Hawks should have more personnel options next year, more experience in 2nd tier players, and better conditioning after a longer pre-season ... Of course that doesn't necessarily mean they'll get the choccies, but wouldn't surprise if they were closer to the money again in 2010

Look at backing Hawks and laying off for a tidy profit later in the year.

Subject to trade/draft outcomes, I'd look at the Hawks and the Bulldogs as offering possible value.

Hawthorn, Bulldogs and Adelaide interest me with those odds. Especially Hawthorn.

Hawthorn have had their day in the sun and although should improve to make the finals next season, cant see being a premiership threat.
Bulldogs have been very consistent and should be around the mark again and agree Adelaide could be in the mix tho i hate them. Think St Kilda will drop a notch or two next season.

Collingwood?

Adelaide and Bulldogs at those odds might interest me.

Might make my first bet Geelong and the Bulldogs.

Bulldogs won't even make the GF without a big forward. Barry Hall isn't exactly a big forward either in my opinion.

What is he then? He's no goal sneak, not a ruckman, how else could you possibly describe him?

* Unless by "big" you mean top quality,Brown,Reiwoldt,Tredrea *

Booney, you can not put Tredrea in the same class as Brown and Reiwoldt

He may be referring to Tredrea circa 2004, rather than 2008/9

Correct, since 2000 Tredrea has been one of the best big forwards in the game. AA,Premiership CHF, CHF in a team that spent some time at the top.

Barry Hall is also a Premiership CHF & Captain. Treadrea and Hall both even in their prime in my book, but neither can be compared to Brown & Riewoldt, EVER
