Morphetville....

Whats the goss on impressive first-up winner Im Discreet dutchy?

CC $5.50 in the press this morning. Drawn wide around the parks is a slight concern

EL Signeur can run a place at $4-$5 in the 5th race. (overs)

Friday Nights trialled well on Monday, each way tommorow.

Arezzo looks a class above in the last, the Friday Nights form will stack up in this race.
BL are $1-00-2  thats not even $1-01

Spoke to owner of Im Discreet yesterday, given luck it brains them again, $2.50 in the paper  will be more like $1.40 I fear, if I can get evens Ill be all over it.

We prefer a wide gate as she likes being outside horses, Dare say we will go forward and try and be outside the leader anyway....this field aint much stronger than last week....I reckon she can win

Scarlet Rose in the 1st tomorrow is a bit of a tip also.

I have seen the weather headed for Perth and am having my biggest bet ever on total match score under 150 at $3.50. WCE v Hawks

Just got the Sportsman and in it it says about I'm Discreet:

"I'm Discreet (Morphetville Race 2 No.2) - Easily accounted for them last time over 1000m and was in the worst part of the track and still won by six lengths. Our rating suggests this is as good as I've seen for an Adelaide two-year-old. Unbeatable!"

So this should be one of your five.

Their other black booker is:

"Skytrain (Rosehill Race 4 No. 1) - Gets back in its races and needs speed on. Gets that here with the likes of Sway To Go, Apache Crown and Empire Place. Winter conditions suit and will be hard to beat here without doubt."

Their best bet is also:

"Best: Grand Duels (Flemington R8 No. 1) looks bombproof in the last in Melbourne tomorrow. He's a genuine Group One horse at this trip. His first-up third last preparation to Scenic Blast and his previous first-up effort winning the Aurie's Star puts him a couple of panels ahead of these. The $3.80 in this morning's press is a mile over the odds."

So there is three you may like to consider.

Flemington R8 -No. 1 - Grand Duels - Represents great value at almost each-way odds. Was beaten a fair way by Scenic Blast & Swiss Ace, but his main danger (SA trained Arinos), admittedly hasn't beaten much to maintain its unbeaten record down the straight. Won't discount Arinos, but will be having a bit on Grand Duels (Each way just to cover all bases, it WILL run in the first 3)

Morphettville Pks R2 - No. 2 - I'm Discreet - I'll take anything better than $1.50 - it's free money.

Flemington R8 - No. 8 - Chortova - Good each way odds , with Oliver on board. Beaten by fave last time by 1/2 neck, gets the weight turn around this outing.

Flemington R5 - No. 9 - Red Buttons - Best bet of the day for me. Kent/Williams combination, excellent effort first up in a seemingly unsuitable race.

Good luck!

Dutchy, ive had a tip for Acatabove in CC's race. First up last time came from last with 150 to go and lost by a bee's diaphram. Might be worth adding to multi's.

One of my favorite horses....loves the straight 1000 at Flemington. Will definately be in first 3 and almost call it a special to win.

Hmmm doesnt seem to have a habit of winning though, 1 win in 24 starts suggests it is a prick tease. And only has 1 placing in 7 starts on Dead or Slow going...Ill pass
