WSOP 2009

Just noticed Sportsbet have their book going for the WSOP ... Obviously it's a raffle with so many thousands of players competing in a tournament where one false move can end it all.

The favourites (Ivey, Negreanu, Hansen and Nguyen) are all at $101.

Anyone tempted to have an interest bet, or even try to snag someone at crazy odds for a decent potential lay during the tournament?

Boris Becker at $2501 as is Jason Alexander (not sure if its George Costanza or the guy who married Britney Spears for the day).

After watching it on One the other night i hope that young Italian lad Minieri (??) goes well. Might even put $5 on him - or perhaps double him up into the favourite in the hotdog eating contest

Minieri is a douche!

Jason Alexander is George Costanza.

Some unknown will win it again... wheres the price for "any other player"? $ 1.01?

Sitting 96th out of the 130 remaining. Given me a great sight @ $1501.

Chip leader on around 4 million he's sitting on 800k and only one double up from being dangerous!

I have Isaac Baron at $751 and Michael de Michele at $1501.

How do I find out how these guys are going or even if they're still in it?

Eastgate bombed out in 75th position.

Down to 29 runners. Phil Ivey hard to beat with the 2nd highest stack youd think.
