I see on Tab online that both the horse racing and the dish lickers in Adelaide have been canceled today. Very good move because it is bloody hot here.

Heading to the Ceduna Cup on Saturday.... long drive but have contacts over that way... hope it cools down by then!!!

I understand that the gallops will prob be cancelled but what about trots?
I have a bucks show there Sat night and could throw a huge spanner in the works if they are called off!

The bucks show has been transfered to Hanson Rd

The trots would be OK wouldn't it because it would be at night not during the day.

what are you on grub ? you say you've been there yet you don't know you are allowed eskies into globe derby the only thing your not allowed to have is bottles but if you have glasses you can say that you are pouring the bottles into the glasses obviously ag you get to hanson road & stop then go home and say you lost $100.00

i don't know about that because the first race is 6.23 pm & the last at 9.55pm, i think it would be fair to say that it wouldn't get dark until about race 5 at 8.24 pm. with the horses, trainers, drivers & stablehands under that 'tin shed' it is usually 10-15 degrees hotter under there so with the health aspect with that could be enough to jeopardise the meeting, i also wonder what the tempreature is for port pirie on friday night, perhaps if this/these meetings get called off & the weather relieves in tempreature perhaps a sunday night twilight would be a better way to go, or transfer it to victor harbor as it is usually cooller down there

dont laugh bayman I have done that before!!!!

I took a carton of crown stubbies in an esky and was told no eskies..... maybe the guy meant no bottles???? maybe I was that tanked I cant remember....
