long season MT long season!

just going to try and grind out a profit with value bets, the united game for example, always play high scoring games against the weaker teams, $2.06 was massive overs IMO

as for other sports, Ive never been able to nail tennis, just cant get into it apart from the occasional bet during the majors...

NFL starts next week and NBA in Nov!

Speaking of hat-tricks, I've just seen one that represents reasonable value IMO:

From Skybet in the UK:

Berbatov, Pavyluchenko and Robinho all to be top scorers at their respective clubs - 25/1.

Obviously all new players at each club and 2 untried in the EPL, BUT at Citeh, only SWP will get close to Robinho if he brings Real Madrid type form to Eastlands, at Spurs only Darren Bent will challenge Pav and Berbatov will dominate the world at Man U, especially given the head start he'll have on Ronaldo.

So, my take on each players chances on being top scorer at their club:

Berbatov - 60-80% chance - only doubt surrounds Ronaldo's effectiveness when he returns (and whether Berba can control his dummy spits enough to remain in Fergie's side)
Robinho - 90% - only injury will prevent him topping the list.
Pavyluchenko - 60-70% - Darrent Bent's goals against the lower sides and the fact that no Russians have ever done anything in the EPL.

This one to me is safer than betting on individual results.

Curbishley has left West Ham.

If I was a betting man, I would put a few $$$ on Ballardini to take over at 8/1
