ALBION PARK -

just heard on radiotab that one of ALBION PARKS grandstands is being closed

sat night trots moved to gold coast

tuesday trots to redcliffe

not sure what is happening with the doggies.

I guess the multiple players who like going 1/9 (hope its still 8 across the front) will have to play at gloucester park friday night

that is a fairly new grandstand, i reckon it was built in the early to mid 80's & i know it is called 'the russ hinze grandstand' while it is newish it must be a structual problem but how can they make a mistake like that ?

what are they going to do about the interdominion that's on up there next year :shock: :shock:

Correct the grandstand is 25 years old and does seem the problem is structural.

All dog meetings have been moved. Great timing with the Gold Coast due to be closed next month :shock:

Everyone in the Albion Park offices have also had to move out meaning there is some serious damage done somewhere to the grandstand.

Whoever built this grandstand would be as nervous as hell i believe as this certainly isnt good for business. :?
