i agree, i still think baf can sit in the death & win, i think she'd rather sit in the death & have safari 3 wide when he makes his move rather than getting burned in front by him, if he doesn't win i'd suggest divisive would sprint lane smoken up & win, the roughie with the best hope would be report for duty

JJ is spot on on all fronts here - Safari - can't win.. huge risk

I don't bet big in finals very often, but I'm with JJ on this one - Divisive's run last week was massive and the leader will get it to the sprint lane and if $1.80+ a place then CHARGE - ALL ABOARD!! I don't think it can miss money!!

I can't wait for this weekend, I've had my grandstand seat for 8 weeks > and the barrier draws in the Derby + Interdom final haven't let us down

so tell us - If you were driving the fav and the winner of the last 2 titles, would you hand up the breeze to Safari or would you park him the trip??

I would park him, make him do more work then you and don't show signs of weakness - because if you do it once, they will expect it everytime...

Any Chance that Lance hands up the Lead to BAF ?
If Smoken Up holds the Lead there is NO chance of it holding out Divisive at the end.
Think S.Ups Best chance is to hand up to BAF and hope Safari Burns it.
Can Divisive Hold out S.Up and then hand up to BAF?

If only you could get a bet on after 400m of this race.

If Smoken Up leads with Blacky in the death, then Smoken Up cant win and Divisive is a huge chance using the sprint lane. This scenario means Safari cant take off because he'd be 3 wide throughout as Blacky wont give up the death.

But what if Lance handed up for the 1st time in his life to Blacky. This gives him the sprint lane, puts Divisive 3 back the fence and encourages Safari to race around to the death and pressure Blacky. He would obviously then hope they had a war giving him his only possible hope.

Just throwing up a few options.

G there is a school of thought and one of your men is the headmaster of this school that Blacky can cross LJ with sheer speed.

I agree thats what Lance MUST do

while i think blacky can win i hope the favourites cut at each other as this will suit Diamonds N Furs. His run last week was equal if not better than Safari's as he was wide the last part of the ra ce and reeling off some very quick sectionals. He has had no luck this interdominion and had to do it tough doing alot of work. Like i said he needs alot of luck but at juicy odds he's my eachway bet.

No doubt Safari will be out and charging before they get to the Mile mark.
Can't see lance handing straight up to BAF. BAF is a quick beginner but last week weren't to many coming out full bore inside. Lance wll be charging to hold her early. Has said he's not handing up, good tactic to stop anyone else having a crack for the lead till Safari comes round to put the pressure on.
Agree with G be good move by lance to hand up put Divisive 3 back on fence and Reort for duty 4 back.
Can't lead and win Smoken Up but hands up has a chance.
COULD Be a small query on Divisve staying over the long trip with a geninue speed. Hunter Cup run was fraction dissapointing. May need a season of racing at this level before he's up with top few in geninue run races.

Only 5 chances at Most.

The speed over the long trip will be on so the fence will be the place for the horses to be coming from.
Penny Vjay and Robin Hood will have traffic to get through.

I would have a crack for the lead if dont get it i would hand up to safari and let him attack smokin up and get the gun run it would be suicidal to not let safari go when he gets there. Regarding the thoery of lance handing up to put devisive three fence no hope of that happening lance dosent take a sit on a bus
