Why does Unitab persist with First 4's in every race at Globe ?
The total pools were -
R.1 $892
R.2 $419
R.3 $1165
R.4 $511
R.5 $1151
R.6 $347
R.7 $357
R.8 $231
Go back to 2 or 3 per night and it might work out being worth while.

I've noticed they are on all races everywhere these days on punitab and the pools are terrible...
Combine NSW / Vic + QLD and it would be worthwhile.. but not really when you are getting $200 in the pool... a whole $45 in commission

i think you will find they have been put in for the new easybet betting option which was supposed to have started in dec.
they are an embarrasment

i noticed in last weeks sunday mail in the sports section with ben hook etc they mentioned EASY BET..................

they never said when its coming through and i havent heard a new release date

But these forms of betting invariably improve with exposure
ANY 2 pools used to be $50 early on, now they are $300 +.
The P4 pools will improve eventually but by how much ?
You would think you need potts of $3000 to be a viable betting meduim
Imagine getting a roughie result and you get back $500 on a P4[the pool] + $1500 on the same Trifecta !

mal, all trotting first 4's DO go to albion park race 1 not IF

i do agree that is a joke though, if a race jackpots in victoria it should jackpot to a victorian race & it should happen like that imho

As do all the Pissy J/Pots from the Gallops now are all added up and put on 1 Race on a Sat Arvo.
Consistently they get $100,000 + Jpots which means most times they are Paying Back more $$$$$ to the Punter than they actually invest on the race which means the odds are in my Favour which makes Winning Rather easy.

S/Tab J/Pots go onto the Next race at the same meeting which i think is a fairer way of doing it BUT either way it's Easy money.

eg. Why take F4s on races where the Tab take out 22.5% commission when you can bet on J/Pot races where often the payout is > than 100% compared to the norMAL 77.5% ?

These are the Variables in Punting that any Punter that is serious about winning should be taking Advantage of.

All the F4s J/Pot to QLD R1 Bcos they have a Better Product to wager on than SA do which means Greater Turnover. Simple as that.

No way are they not gunna take the max comission out of a jackpot pool.

centreman please explain to me how they get it twice, i would have thought once, after the jackpot has concluded but whether it's taken out of the jackpot pool or left until a result has happened i can't see how it's twice

Pool 3k punitab take 600. 2400 jackpots and builds to say 25k they then take 5k out of the new total thus they have taxed the 2400 twice. nice work if you can get it.

I seriously doubt that this is the case.

On the W.A. Tab site (TABozbet) they advertise the Jackpot amount with their commission taken OUT but they include the Total jackpot carryover amount in the Pool size on the nominated jackpot race therefore indicating that the commission is taken out ONCE only.
I Assume PuniTab do the same, it's just that they DO Include the entire carryover amount in their Pool total so how does that amount to Double Dipping ????
