already can do this on South Africa and England races, I rang up just before the jump once and they said they had jumped and did I still want to get my bet on, looked at the screen and realised they had gone 100m, said yes put the bet on and got on in the run!

in a photo finish its interesting as you can back or lay depending on who you thought won! good if you knwo the angles etc at the tracks (eg angle park the camera is past the post therefore the outside looks like it has lost but has won...nice to have a laptop handy if you were near the judges box!

What about having to ring up? the govt need to change legislation so we can bet in the run over the internet....otherwise we are at a disadvantage to other countries betting on the same races

Tried to bet on the Australian Open during the Mens Final but wasn't able to. Service was not available to Australian users.

Great idea but seriously can you imagine ringing up on the phone halfway down the straight in the Oakleigh Plate????? You wouldnt get through... you couldnt seriously do it that way....
The only way you could do it is with a fast laptop......

Would be great to bet on tne run in Port Lincoln as most of the races are over on the home bend $$$$$$$

Wouldnt listen to Hollywood Hilton on photo finishes.... he called the third horse the winner in the last at Lincoln the other day.....

September 07 edition of PPM

'Bet and win as the race unfolds'

basically saying that with betting in the run knowing the racing pattern of particular horses will give you an advantage.

they say that it is more likely that a horse that is a backmarker is likely to trade at a bigger price durin the run then before the race and horses that are leaders you would want to bet on before the run because if they found the lead they would be shorter...........

Grub...Legislation current stands that you CANT bet in the run over the internet, you can only do it over the phone....until that changes you cant do it on the PC no matter how fast it is!
