A couple of rides not picked by the TAB will find points also.

Those 2 pts there were what i was talking about.
Form was a lot better than the odds suggested.

THOMPSON no points.... pretty handy.... Pity Stokes couldn't pick one up.... Feel Stokes is behind the eight ball now, but Thompson has 2 rides and Stokes 1....

Just need Stokes to get more points from her one ride than Thompson gets from his 2......

Can see Thompson not getting a point. Stokes' ride has some pretty ordinary form but you just never know!!

UNITAB RESPONSE:

In response to your email regarding Thursday’s Jockey Challenge at Rockhampton, all bets placed on David Simmons were losing bets.

The original market was posted including David Simmons based on the rides he was intended to take part in. As soon as it became known that he would not take part in the race, betting on David Simmons was closed.

I would advise that according to our Queensland Wagering Rule, bets on a Jockey Challenge fall under the All-In rule meaning no refunds. Please refer to the Wagering Rule 1999, Part 3, 15B(2) which sets out the rule for ‘Refund of investment – fixed odds – jockeys’ challenge.

I have also spoken to the Bookmakers who manage the Jockey Challenge and they confirm the All-in nature of this event.

I trust this answers your query satisfactorily.
