I haven't got Sky on.......so why do you say that (I haven't seen a replay)

BTW, good get if it gets up. I picked both horses cos they'd won at that pig of a track. Didn't see the 10! Could've got the tri!

Whilst whipping Nakaaya, Froggys whip was hitting LL on the nose .. I think they said Nakaaya rolled in on her too, so rooted both ways .. Ive given up any hope, the footage front on is pretty damning.

Sorry mate, I wasnt being silly I would have overturned the result if I was involved and had no interest .. I almost wonder if the judges werent a bit "over" the protesting parties by the end of the protest.

Newitt clearly hits LL in the schnoz a few times, but the judges couldnt be convinced it wasnt his normal whipping action

Yes, definitely. I'm sure they get to the point where they say "we're holding up the rest of the meet, if you can't prove anything now, then we have to move on".

Anyway, to the next. I'm going 10 the place on the 1 @ $3.55 on betfair.

Well done mate, that's a good collect by the way. If we catch up on Coopers Hill, you can shout me a beer :D

the protest as had been mentioned they dismissed it cos Newitt didnt change his riding style from prior to hitting the other horse.

Surely Newitt and any other jockey would have a duty of care in this instance???????

I had TVN on waiting for BC and heard the protest, find it interesting and it helps working out which jockeys and trainers are smarter then the others.

Black Caviar - another impressive effort, half missed the kick, sits deep early, Lukey wakes her up and the caller thought she was gone, as did a couple of the others on TVN, just went straight past them.

Crystal Lilly, sound effort, led and was never bothered and Hinchinbrook made good ground late and then a space to 4th.

Interesting to hear Nolen after the race on TVN, mention the only instruction tonight was not to hit her!! Im not sure that day is in the immediate future

A good saver for me. Valueabelle should never have got out to 3.80 like it did. Anyway i was happy to take the 3.60 on offer on betfair.

I also liked the 7 initially but it had never gone around the MV circuit. Absolute death trap for some horses. Given Palatine was running against lesser grade, I would've backed it, but not tonight.
