Moppy feels the wrath of the unpredictable nature of the JC.

One day a while ago I plonked a substantial amount on Simon Price @ $2.20, only to find he pulled out with a sore shoulder after R1. I leanrt from this mistake and believe I've matured as JC bettor.

moral of the story - Don't back faves + keep a look-out for bookies mistakes & slow updates on markets to counteract the unpredictable nature and sometimes the bad luck you will experience in a JC.
