surely with Gatt and his strike rate which appears quite poor given he rides a lot of horses well in the market, has anyone decided on a different take on a jockey challenge - which is instead of backing other riders etc, just get onto Betfair and LAY all of gatts rides under say $6??????

thoughts, could it work

As AG said Gatt is the most over-rated jock in SA. bookies would love you backing him at odds-on. Never give them this satisfaction again EVER!!
He has made a name off the back of D Hayes and thats it. He is sh1t

No idea Dutchy, I noticed that too, think it happened earlier in day before he rode his other rides so doubt it was an injury

Damn Pengelly, on the fave in the last I just needed 1st or 2nd for the Quinella @ 31's. Misses the start completely then finishes 3rd by a neck.... OUCH!

Got Potter though so small win overall...

Mr Willy I asked AG about this....

D Whyte 1.35
B Prebble 3.30
Any Other Unlisted Jockey 7.00

AND THE QUINELLA

D Whyte / B Prebble 1.10
D Whyte / Any Other Unlisted Jockey 2.20
B Prebble / Any Other Unlisted Jockey 10.00
Any Other Unlisted Jockey / Any Other Unlisted Jockey 51.00

Surely AOJ/AOJ Quinella at $51 is worth a tenner??
How is this for a JC - HONG KONG TONIGHT

He said what a joke the sportingbet quinellas are!! Look at the percentage of that market 148%. $1.10 who in their right mind would take $1.10 for a JC? He still remembers when they had the Gatt/Lindop quin at the provincials one day paying $1. and it didnt win , not even close. If forced to have a bet he said $100 on D Whyte/AOJ at $2.20 and $20 on Prebble/AOJ at $10.

THOROUGHBRED RACING SA LIMITED
STIPENDIARY STEWARDS’ REPORT – TY FAGG
ALLAN SCOTT PARK MORPHETTVILLE – THURSDAY, 21 JANUARY 2010
The Stewards have today concluded their inquiries into the circumstances in which registered
stablehand (trackwork rider) Ty Fagg, at Port Lincoln racecourse on Tuesday morning, 15 December
2009, after having ridden trackwork –
1. provided a urine sample in which analysis detected the substance 11‐nor‐delta‐9‐
tetrahydrocannabinol‐9‐carboxylic acid; and
2. attempted to provide a sample which was a substitute.
These matters were heard separately.
1. After considering the evidence tendered, Ty Fagg was charged under ARR.81A(1)(a) in that
the urine sample provided by him after riding trackwork was found to contain 11‐nor‐delta‐
9‐tetrahydrocannabinol‐9‐carboxylic acid at a level which exceeded that prescribed in
ARR.81B. T. Fagg pleaded guilty.
The Stewards suspended his registration as a stablehand (trackwork rider) for a period of six
(6) months to expire at midnight on 14 June 2010.
T. Fagg was informed that prior to being permitted to ride in the future he would be required
to provide a clear sample in accord with ARR.81A(4).
2. After considering the evidence tendered by Steward, Mr. J. Petzer, the Stewards were
satisfied that the rider had consciously stored a sample of urine and attempted to substitute
that sample when requested to provide a urine sample at Port Lincoln having ridden work
that morning.
He was charged with having committed an offence under Rule ARR.175(a) in that he had
committed an improper action. T. Fagg pleaded guilty.
The Stewards, having regard to the rider’s deliberate premeditated action, disqualified T.
Fagg for a period of twelve months to conclude at midnight on 14 December 2010. It was
noted the rider had previously failed to deliver a sample when requested in September 2005.
T. Fagg was informed of his right of appeal.
