mcevoy and gatt belong at the abboitors.

p gatt would have to be the most over rated jock in SA. without Hayes supporting him over the years he would be riding at Ceduna and Kangaroo Island.

Gatt is on the same pile as Ty Fagg.

overloaded wrote:Did anyone see after race 2 at Sandown they put Symons up at $51 still (centrebet had him $5). I jumped in the car with my $50 to get to the TAB (2 mins away) but when I got there it was suspended and 10 mins later it came back with Symons at $6.50.

having a TAB online account would have been handy... never thought I would say that!!

I could not believe that.

Was at the pub, saw Symons go from $31 to $61 after R1.... (And he had no ride in the first)

Got on the $61 before R2, then he wins on a $17 pop in the second.
Just out of curiousity, checked the JC odds, expecting Symons to be $5-$7...

And he had come up as $51......... I could not believe my eyes.....
Huge oversight, AG would have had a field day.. The biggest OVERS i've ever seen..... Ever....

Unloaded onto the $51..... Of course, he doesn't win....
(Mainly due to his very, very good hope - Hezabruiser being a late scratching......)
If Hezabruiser runs, Symons probably wins the JC...

Now what I'm wondering is................
Did the TAB cop a massive hammering on the $51, and did they play some part in Hezabruiser getting scratched??? Surely not.............???

Unlikely that the TAB is scared of a few Jockey Challenge bets so much so that they have an influence on the race.

We don't know what kind of P/L they held. But to suggest anything untoward is madness.
