I have 8 horses in a first 4 for the cup inc mourayan. With it being scratched does it just increase my percentage if the f4 gets up?

and brod, yes very much so... i was talkin to someone today saying i dont understand why its the race that stops the nation, noone gives a rats about any other races around 3000m

If the price tag was the same as cox plate coalfield cup etc they'd have more interest

And if your Aunty had balls she'd be your Uncle, the point is it DOES have a $6million prize pool so attracts the warranted interest.

the POINT IS that all the races close to that distance through out the year and worthless and then all of a sudden theres the melb cup.

they should have more races worth more around the distance.

and stumps, i had it in a tri fecta with 4 other horses so yeah i wanna know if i have to put it on again

wow bit touchy there Johno, have a family member with a foot in both camps do you? Just a jovial way of saying that it does have the purse which is what makes it special.

If they had more races, worth more at that distance then this one wouldn't be special!! You don't play an AFL GF every 2 months otherwise it would lose it's lustre. The majority of the field would have set their preparation for this race, Adelaide Cup used to be a Group 1 over 3200 but can't attract the field the Melbourne Cup can.

i wish adel had a scene like melb racing. and a similar purse, so we could attract the better horses.
