yeah man, that put an end to my all-up.

I had 1 and 3 for the win and that ****** me big time.

Race 5 I like Lotto Blues.

In saying that, I have a boxed exacta of 9 and 12. Not good chances either bets but hell I'd like it to come home.

Race 5: 1 Sunny Oasis has good form and is a bit of a veteran. Hits the top three one in three starts over 60 or so races, so is somewhat consistent, although given two wins in last three starts may suggest it might miss this one. A risky bet but can win it.

My roughie 6 Boncourt appears to either win or not get near it. Like I said, a real roughie and should jump at high odds.

Strategic Design a more than likely favourite is a real chance, but given the pour form across the field of late, no horse is out of this one and some good value should appear closer to the jump.

I must admit, I did see the late mail Sandsational with C Lindop on the back, that was a big miss on my behalf. Sorry guys.

On another note, $2.60 a place for number one wasn't too bad. Was it close?

Ok, as above, but RaceTAB who got the last Late Mail has 10 Wild'n'stormy to win.

9 Renown Knight is another BB special although this is more of a superstitious bet so enter with care.

Does have the form and 2 wins and 2 places from 7 starts gives it a good chance so I'd be taking at least $4 for it.

Double Cover also looks like a value bet over $10 atm, but it may shorten.

Lotto Blues runs its 4th consecutive 3rd, but at $3 the place that's a pretty decent result.

Race 6:

RaceTAB has 7 Better Bond as late mail although BB special doesn't like it and given he is on fire, I'll back him here to see Better Bond not make the final three. Big call.

I have boxed up 1,2,3,6 in a tri.

BB loves Fighting Fury and it has been a proven performer of late with two wins and a fourth from last three starts.

Rate it a good chance behind likely favourite 1 Boy John.

Never leave 8 Pluvius out of this one. It wins about one in five starts and is due.

Keep an eye on Little Bay for value.

6 Espirit De Danse has solid form of late and will likely jump near favourite with Boy John.

I'll stick with the Fury here however, while Little Bay (pending value) will be my EW shot.

I'm hoping not. But yes, a fair few good chances here. Not an easy race to pick. Usually a roughie spoils the party in these gigs. I think it will be Little Bay.

The Fury loves the front so it should be half a sniff, and it has been in form lately, but not one of my favourites horses.

I like the 2 as a bit of each way value... And maybe the 4 as well.....

I am going to have a bit of a crack at the Fury and a bit on Yarterbury (2)...

Gee if we followed your tips and boxed up the 7 as late mail, the fury and boy john, and then thrown in the 8 Pluvius, Little Bay and Espirit De Danse - would've got the first 4 which paid a solid $3768

RACE 7:

Sea Factor is all the rage as early favourite and late mail to boot.

BB has tipped it as well, so it's a near certainty.

Open field here but I'm getting on the back of one C Lindop on 8 Empire Street.

That will be my quinella.

Roughy: Canophyta.
