Whobe really seems to struggle when the pressure comes on - couldn't handle it today and really struggled in the Cox Plate. Doesn't seem to like the big races with the big fields.

Bit harsh..... Probably couldn't handle it Saturday because its leg had been hacked up after being galloped on early....

Becoming a costly one to follow though that is for sure....

I think Whobe struggles with Rodd aboard.....time for a new jockey I think.

Can't see it happening... one of the best jockeys around and being Kav's stable jockey would be very harsh to take him off their best horse...

Im sure I read in the paper on the weekend that Whobe has not won with Rodd aboard in about 10 starts

Yep, I read that as well.... I think I remember Kav commenting on it.... The way he races he will always need luck, but it is a bit concerning for connections that he's becoming a bit of a big race non winner...

Thanks Gents, pretty chuffed, first time me and my mate have seen her win live after about 30 races, we made a bit of noise. Was a bit more confident when got to the track and they had downgraded the track to slow. And it wasnt a change of riding tactics, she was supposed to go forward but was sluggish out of the gates, but it confirms my theory that she loves being on the outside of horses and doesnt stretch out when boxed in. Tillie was rapt as it was an apprenctices only race and she won a trophy nearly as big as her!

They gave us a copy of the DVD, just put it on and its race 4 not race 5! Oh well if thats the worst thing that will happen today Ill take it.

Savvy was scratched from the last to keep him for Sunday at Pt Augusta.
