You guys are confirming my point even more. It's not the race itself. It's the prize money

Don't get me wrong the atmosphere of the day etc is amazing

But the race card isn't the best.

I guess I'm just sour we don't get a public holiday for it too haha

Is the track going to be too hard for the visitors tomorrow??
Been upgraded and don't think will rain before the big one.
Unusual suspect, illo, and modun may handle the dry track better.
Don't think Moonee valley form will hold up!!

I went to melb cup last year. Next year gonna try go derby first then the cup.
5 group one races or something. Would be an awesome week in Melbourne.

The Cup:
No 17 - At first sight
Boxed Quinella and Trifecta - 1,7,12,14,17

The other races:
R1 No 9 - Maraatib
R2 No 11 - Col Steel Rein
R3 No 6 - Adroitly
R4 No 15 - Sophie's Spirit
R5 No 4 - The Counterfeiter
R6 No 3 - And Rock
R8 No 4 - Lamasery
R9 No 18 - Liquidation
R10 No 18 - Baron

Hopefully at least 1 winner and a placing or 2 in there :lol:
