even though you had the first 4 in the wrong order I assume you collected something out of the race

Had the trifecta a stack of times and also the F4 on S/tab quite a few times which is very unusual as it wasn't a J/Pot but bcos 1/2 the field had NO chance of running in the F4 i thought i'd take one. ;)

Congratulations to the Victorian horses for winning tonights feature races

Must commend the Advertisers formguide for tonights meeting
The only complaint is the 5 tipsters listed, whats perplexing is one of them is not G

Lincoln Moore has provided very very good comments for the meeting

TATTSBET will be betting fixed odds for all races tonight
Pity they will go on strike and not bet on all GDP meetings after tonight

I wonder if the Victorian quaddie punters will complain ?
Fancy putting race 6 where it is, those poor Victorian punters will have to guess that leg ....

I'm not going to say he can't win - but I don't think $2 is value.
I like Ohoka Nevada e/w at the $8.50 and the place even more @ $2.25.

They would be better off running 8 or 9 then letting some horses in...
Gee Whizz Fizz for one, it beat The Tribunal last start, who couldn't run a place @ Pirie in a low grade claimer yesterday
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

Will start by saying that I'm really not the best person to ask about trots at all, but went out there with a group last Saturday night and had a great night.

On the night, a few runners that caught the eye, that are also running tonight:

- Power In Disguise in the claimer (race 2). Gave little else a chance last week and could dictate again from the front row, hard to run down.

- Heza Fire Fighter (race 3): Held up a few times last week in awkward positioning back in the field, before flashing home late. Off the front row, may have a better run with space and could prove handy.

- Escapeta Aruba in the trot (race 4). Backed from $21 to $13 on course, before galloping away. Made up tons of ground from being nearly tailed off to finish fifth. Probably needs it a bit easier than this, but if she stepped cleanly, may run a race at odds.

- The Darl (race 6). Impressive after working in the run to score. From barrier two, should get a softer run and may be a show.

- Ohoka Nevada in the Cup. Drawn behind likely leader Standelle, if he is still behind him on the turn, then could get a great run through on the sprint lane to run a place at least.

- Waitpinga For Life, Race 8. Driver took off a shade early last week when looked the winner on the turn before fading a little in the straight. A more patient drive from a tough barrier could see her turn the tables this time.

Again, I'm by no means any sort of expert like Mal, Bayman, G, SCD, Jackpot Jim etc, so take these as they are, but just some thoughts.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

all i will say is would any other horse in the race sit outside blacks a fake & win ?

as for tonight

r1 no 3 leads & wins
r2 try using no's 3,7,8 in multis.....if there is a big screen the 7 could be a risk as it has shied at it before at kilmore & threw a race away but that was a few seasons ago
r3 no5 unbeatable, i think 2,9,10 behind it
r4 no 13 (5/2 fixed odds seems some value to me), main danger is no8
r5 chances no's 1,5,6,7 (no1 $1.90 fixed is too short, value is no5 @ $4.80)
r6 look for value, main chances seem to be no's 8,10
r7 no 9 best horse, no1 likely leader has some hope & roughie with a place hope is no 10
r8 no3 leads & wins from no's 6,7
r9 no's 4 or 6 seem to be the main two
r10 if you are in front don't bet, if you are desperate maybe no's 6 or 9
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

it all depends on what you want to bet on

I thought we had been through this shite

if you bet win/place = BETFAIR

if you bet exotics = CORPORATES who pay out on TAB divvies

Its funny with Jimmy Jacques as most local people involved with the Trots find him slightly annoying with his screeches, bluing at the start, and a few other comments he always throws in BUT the interstate punters LOVE him for his passion

i actually think whatever the gambling business a person users, the main objective is to win, so if one users betfair & wins consistently & someone else will use a sportsbet, sportingbet & the like & win consistently, while others use any of the tabs & wins consistently who really cares what other people would think if you are winning using whichever form you desire & profit from......this preaching is way over the top because the bottom line is winning ;)
