now I see what you meant (i didn't clarify). not only can Richmond lose by up to 53 points, but should they win, the bet still wins.

Those odds are about the most absurd odds Ive ever seen in a footy market

Why is it absurd ?
$1.01 would be about the right price i would've thought.
Richmond will be lucky to get within 15 goals.

Ive mentioned twice this season about stoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopid odds
ST $1-05 V SA [Draw]
CO $1-05 V ML [1 ponit win]
FR V RI this week $1-01
Terrible odds for FR , a last start losing team, and a team that has a history like Punk roosters ex girlfriends of letting you down

Think about it
$700 to win $7
Your better off ringing the local service station 5 times a day for a week to find out when the litre price drops

Think about this
7 winners without Fremantle is a better way to go
Imagine that the last game was FR V RI
The first 7 winners were at odds of about $4-46 [= $346 profit on a $100 bet]

You are then effectively outlaying $446 at $1-01 to get your odds up to about $4-50
You are risking $446 for a lousy $4-46 extra

The question I ask, is would you put $446 on FR to win $4-60 in one lump sum bet

IF the answer is YES then please reply to this post

Yep.... I know when I have previously explained it to people they always ask, but what happens if Richmond win!?

i had to have a dabble at the crows this week, too good odds with a team with back to walls. and i heard on the news that the Bulldogs are really sore from the hard gabba surface.

$200 at 1-39 for crows at $8.00

I think Geelong on the line are good value. Carlton have won twice, once over Richmond and then over Adelaide, both winless.

I can't see Carlton getting too close to Geelong where Carlton have a shocking record at the MCG in recent times.

They said on the news tonight the crows were over $7 just to win.... I might have a dabble at the 1-39 too...

I reckon the value is in line betting this week!

$20 on Crows +42.5, Sydney -32.5, Brisbane -24.5, Geelong -29.5 @ 13.30 = $266.17

Yes thanks Mal, pretty obvious
Was merely pointing out that boxing all 8 is paying very little this week compared to your standard AFL round.

Reckon Geelong could cover the line very eaily this week against Carlton
Hawks 1-39
Essendon at the line
Maybe St K to cover at AAMI

last weekend's AFL was full of value.
Nothing to see here this week.
Only thing that possibly interests me, is backing red-hot fav's at 1-39 in night games- say Stk v Port @ Footy Park.

Swnas v WCE will be interesting- these sides traditionally match up well, & have played out some very close reults.
The present day Swans are flying however, but is this the dreaded round where a few teams get ahead of themselves?

Essendon and North Melbourne are my two upset chances.

Port are no good. Beaten WCE and North and allowed both back into the game late. Brisbane should have won by a lot more but took their foot off the pedal in the last quarter and they were smashed by Geelong. St Kilda compares with Geelong and their pressure will be too much for too long IMO.
