Mal i reckon if both of LTP lays win today he'll still be infront off them more than 168 or so in a row you have given us. I'm tipping you'll be laying our joshua at 501+ today.

Mal if you claim the horse you don't get the prizemoney. you take the horse home thats all. Win loose or draw or even if it break down or bleeds during race its still yours.

Mr Willy Claiming races are another form of handicaping. Draws are done on the horses price, lowest get one highest outside back row. every horse in the race has a price next to it, so before the race you can go to the track and buy it at the amount the owner puts on it. Some are to high others are more realistic. If more than 1 claim theres a ballot for it. Winning of ballot takes the horse home. Can race it next week, very quick way to get involved in sport.

If 2 or more people have applied to claim LA it gets balloted out to see who wins the horse

When Mr Willy does the paper work b4 the race
He must also nominate the new trainer of the horse ? [Is that Right Centreman ?]

Also if a horse is claimed do they still SWAB the horse after the race ???????????????

Is there a cooling off period if the horse tests positive to any enhancing prohited substances ????
