Was a pity O'Donnells mount was scratched at the barriers. AOJ at Northam might have made the day even sweeter. Once again, the value was found.

Hilt was definitely on him. He called him 'HOME' after Matty won on Roaring Fortune in the 5th. Hmmm i smell a rat, GRUB did the same thing. Is GRUB Hilton Donaldson?

Boys,

Credit where credit is due you have done well. I refuse to bet these markets as the true variance has not hit you yet (late scratching, injuries, overweight on the day, meeting abandonment when you are H..e etc.). I do hope you continue to run well and beat the bookies, I still recall dodgingandweaving saying if my jock wins here I swear i will never bet on these markets again

The key is to your success from my observations is having an account with every bookie fielding on the JC's, so maybe you can start a sticky thread with guidelines to those who want to follow.

Hope your good run continues but I still hold my statement that there wouldn't be a JC if the bookies were losing on them, Until you can lay the favs on bf these markets do not interest me.

Happy Punting and Good luck,

DC

Last night a jockey who still had a chance to win the AOJ at Northam was a scratching at the gates to lose that bet, and a week ago Symons won the first two races with some very good horses to come and then the meeting was abandoned!

I am not Hilton FFS..... He is based at the Payneham Tavern and I am based at the Highway.....FFS

Hilton was definatley on M Nielson in the JC. Hilton is the only caller in Australia that updates the JC prices and tally at each race while they are loading in the barriers. I like him doing it and enjoy his thoughts but YES it was blatant yesterday he had a piece of the $11 Nielson....

DC....The bookies would be winning on JC betting but they wouldnt be winning from this thread...... massive amounts of money must go on the favourites and if they miss on one or two of their fancied rides they are in trouble (this happens regularly). I started off losing thousands on JC's betting on jocks under $4..... not anymore..... finding the double figure jocks when they should be single figure is the way I have been making my money of late.... there is a theory behind it and time will tell if I am succesful

6 rides for Angland in Canberra is good enough for me providing he isn't too short.

Expected as much, since he is clearly the best jock in that field and has some good rides, but I can only hope! Maybe use it in a few multis and get the value somewhere else.

I like Dale Spriggs, mostly because I think most of the jockeys above him are no good and he is passable. Is that a good enough reason to take the $6??

Alesci has some good rides in a day where every jockey has 4 rides at Taree.

Morning Gents,

I enjoyed Davey Carlson post, refreshing. Refreshingly jealous of our success.
Perhaps he is right, we do need a rule book of sorts for the up & comers who wish to join this money spinner.

First rule is, never call anything HOME!

Acceptable use of the word as follows:

H _ _ _ (1/4 of the way home)

H _ M _ (1/2 way home)

H_ M E (3/4 of the way HOME, you want to say HOME, you know he/she is pretty much over the line & the fat lady had begun clearing her throat, but for the sake of the JC you will refrain from making such a bold, silly & fraught with danger kind of statement
