Lost enough on the race
But spare a thought for the person who took the $1-11 a place I put up for $11
Trying to win a peanut,, ran 5th

GDP MON 27

R1-4 LEGINS LEGEND leads all the way and almost unbeatable
R2-2 IMALITTLEBEAUTY almost a LATE MAL selection, wins easy

Both will be way too short to back, so take them as the WIN anchors in exotics

1 - 4 wins at $1.30 and race 2 - 2 wins $1.20 = $1.56 all up on unitab

supertab dished up $1.50 and $1.10 = $1.65

Oh MALgain you've done it again

mowdays drive on Hannans in race 7 was disgraceful giving his horse no chance of running a place by holding the lead and was beaten a length, the length of the straight, why dont these blokes think and will questions be asked?

Your talking carp Bayman, Hannans was never gonna hand up nor should he. Its called racing not FIXING. The much talked about Shady Su got beat by a better horse on the day............it's as simple as that.

I didn't hear too many that backed Letmeadam complaining about Mowdays drive. ;) ;)

well we all know mowday doesn't often hand up but he does sometimes & that's fine, what i'm saying & it isn't crap because it is in the rules to have your horse finish in the best possible position & this is where mowday made his mistake (imho) because i have no doubt his horse would have been placed & possibly won the race instead he was beaten before the turn & finished 22.6 metres from the winner

ps, it has nothing to do with who i backed & for the record i backed the winner for a place ;)

anyway dg, would you rather your horse earn a cheque or get beaten 22.6 metres from the winner ?

Hannans best chance of winning was to lead and keep the shorter than it should be fav in the death seat, you called his drive disgraceful which was way out of line. The so called rule is there to stop drivers doing a job on someone and deliberately getting a horse beat - you can't tell me Mowday wasn't trying to win !!!!
Helping fav's win is not a rule.
Finishing in the best possible position is not supposed to be taken so literally, it's there for blatant cases only.
