I often have a beverage with Dennis Markham in the underground bar on race days and he rates MAL as #1 in SA.

Anyone can tip a 3s on fav, but how many times do they actually get up???
Id say most people could tip 7 winners from 10 with 1.30 favs (mal gets 10/10 everytime)
Mal's tips never lose and thats why we all love him!

- Also, the only reason Mal's tips only pay $1.10-$1.90 is because he shares his tips with us and we smash them on the tote, If Mal kept his tips to himself im sure he could potentially gain alot more profit!
