Call me crazy but I have took the $9.25 for a decent amount about the Crows yesterday. Geelong have so many outs and the Crows have to lift at some stage so I hope its this weekend. Have beaten them before (AAMI last year??) when they were not expected to.

Fair amount but I think the changes to Geelong had more of an impact on the price.

I agree, form is horrible but I don't think its relevant here.
Think back to Demons, pumped against Carlton, looked terrible, ran out and killed the Dons, without Jobe no doubt.
Just think the Ins for Essendon and no Franklin will tip the balance in their favour. I can't see who will kick the Hawks' goals other than Cyril.

The Winners, the Losers and the Hair that stops a nation.
BET OF THE WEEK: Double your money tonight on Sam Mitchell at $2 racking up the most disposals in the Hawthorn and Essendon match.

VALUE BET: Andy Murray’s time on the big stage has arrived. Back him at $7 to win Wimbledon and have a sneaky bet on the double at $48 with Li Na winning the women’s title.

THE KNOCK: The Gold Coast Suns can’t stop a nose bleed; snap up the $3.50 on the Western Bulldogs being the highest scoring team for the round.

TOP FOUR LOCK
Punters believing that the top four of Geelong, Collingwood, Carlton and Hawthorn will be the four preliminary finalists can snap up a seemingly juicy $2 with Sportsbet.com.au.
“The $2 has been very popular with punters with little interest in the $1.72 on those four teams not making up the preliminary finals,” Sportsbet.com.au’s Haydn Lane said.
Punters can also snap up $1.45 on the final four remaining the same at the end of the home and away season with $2.60 available on a change.

JUNIOR BOY SPECIAL
Fans of Hawthorn goal sneak Cyril Rioli can snap up $4 about the little genius booting three goals or more in tonight’s blockbuster with Essendon.
“The special is called Cyrilicious and with Coleman Medal leader Lance Franklin out, Rioli will be the man.” TAB Sportsbet’s Matthew Jenkins said.
Last time Franklin was missing from the line-up Rioli booted five goals against Fremantle.

BACK IN BLACK
ACDC’s iconic “Back In Black” has been installed as the $3.50 favourite with Sportingbet Australia to be number one in Triple J’s Hottest 100 Australian Albums list.
“Back In Black is rock solid at $3.50 with the most bets definitely taken on it. The real shortener is Kick by INXS which has been $8 into $5,” Sportingbet Australia’s Michael Sullivan said.

FRIENDLY FOOTY QUAD
Plenty of punters were counting their footy quad winnings after another punter friendly Round last weekend.
The footy quad results were North Melbourne (13-24) over Essendon, Richmond (25-36) over Brisbane, Geelong (25-36) over St Kilda and Carlton (25-36) over Sydney returned a generous $998.50.
This week’s footy quad will operate on Richmond vs Melbourne/ Sydney vs Collingwood/ Fremantle vs Brisbane and Carton vs West Coast.

HIGH FLYING EAGLES

2011 surprise packets the West Coast Eagles have been the biggest firmer in Premiership betting with their price slashed from $101 into $26 with TAB Sportsbet.
“It has not just been in Premiership betting that they have been firmers with Josh Kennedy $101 into $7 third favourite for third favourite for the Coleman medal and Dean Cox $251 into $26 for the Brownlow medal with some nice wagers at big odds on him.” TAB Sportsbet’s Gary Davies said.
One TAB Sportsbet punter would be content after placing $100 on Cox at $251 while another hooked in with $600ew at $26.

SAM STINGS PUNTERS
Sam Stosurs’ shock Round 1 loss at Wimbledon burnt holes in the pockets of many TAB Sportsbet’s punters.
“Stosur was only $1.02 but was well backed straight out and appeared on a heap of tennis multis.” TAB Sportsbet’s Gary Davies said.
Her opponent Melinda Czink was paying $6.25 in head to head betting and $23 to win in straight sets.

PAYDAY ON OLD RIVALS
One TAB Sportsbet punter will be getting excited after placing a series of Grand Finals quinnela’s after Round 2.
“The punter had three separate cracks on a Collingwood-Carlton Grand final with bets of $3000 at $17 for a potential $48,000 collect, then returned with bets of $5000 and $6300 at $15 for a potential $220,500 collect.” TAB Sportsbet’s Gary Davies said.

FRIDAY NIGHT UPSET

Nick Quinn

ESSENDON has been sensationally-backed to beat its injury-ravaged arch-rival Hawthorn at the MCG tonight.
“On Monday morning we opened Hawthorn at $1.40 and Essendon at the seemingly luxury odds of $2.80, it was if the punters were waiting and have backed the Bombers relentlessly all week.” TAB Sportsbet’s Gary Davies said.
Hawthorn has now drifted to $1.50 with Essendon crunched into $2.50.
“Punters looked at the odds on Monday and with Franklin a certainty to miss and Roughout out injured they are wondering where the goals are going to come from.” Davies said.
Bets on Essendon include two separate bets of $10,000 at $2.80, $8000 and $5000 at $2.50 with all the exotic options specked as well with $7500 at $2.30 on Essendon 1st to 25 points and $6500 at $2.50 on Essendon leading at half time.
Despite the fact the Bombers have not won a game since defeating Brisbane in Round 8 on May 14, Davies said big rivalries always bought the teams closer together.
“Betting on blockbusters and derby games often results in punters throwing out the form guides and with the rich history behind these teams punters are banking on Essendon lifting.” Davies said.
Not surprisingly Essendon has also been very well backed at the line which gives them a 14.5 start.
“All the money for the line has been on Essendon with them now into $1.75 with Hawthorn out to $2.05.” Davies said.
Essendon started $1.65 last week but disappointed against North Melbourne losing by 21 points.
Bigger bets on Essendon at the line include $16,000 on at $1.90 and $20,000 at $1.75.
Punters can’t split the two most exiting teams in the AFL, Richmond and Melbourne ahead of their clash at the MCG tomorrow.
“Both teams are locked at $1.87 and we are writing plenty of bets on each side.” Davies said.
Punters are banking on Collingwood and Carlton to carry on their winning ways.
Collingwood is $1.15 in head to head betting with Sydney $5 outsiders.
“To put in perspective exactly how lob sided the betting has been we have taken nearly $50,000 on Collingwood and less than $500 on the Swans.” Davies said.
It is a similar story with the Carlton and West Coast money, with an avalanche of on Carlton at $1.22 with little interest in the Eagles at $4.
“Yes West Coast has won their past three games, but they have beaten Gold Coast, Adelaide and Port Adelaide.” Davies said.

Most Disposals
Group A
Sam Mitchell $2
Jobe Watson $4
Luke Hodge $7
Brent Stanton $8
Luke Shiels $11
Brad Sewell $16
Dyson Heppell $18
Sam Lonergan $26
Odds: TAB Sportsbet.

Punters are banking on Hawks star midfielder Sam Mitchell continuing his recent hot form against Essendon tonight by backing him rack up the most disposals.
“Mitchell is $2 in the group of eight selected players and we have taken four times as much money on him at that price than the other seven players combined.” TAB Sportsbet’s Gary Davies said.

Yep she sure is.

In my preview I asked the question of who was going to kick the Hawks goals last night with Franklin out? Turns out everyone else in the team. Amazing performance and bravo to those who took the hawks 60+ which paid about $7. Regardless, another high scoring match and that's where the good money was. If you have money on the highest scoring team of the round elsewhere, find a way to perhaps back the Hawks for that as well, 146 will take some beating, hopefully the Doggies do!!
