Upon further reading, golfers are sorted into US, Europe or Rest of the World. This market is bascally YE Yang vs the Americans. McIlroy isnt included. It is still reasonable value but nowhere near a good as i thought...

Us v Rest of the world

Rest of the world 3.1
US 1.35

McIlroy is 10 up on the us best scorer. Am i reading right. is this value?

So, after finding out McIlroy wasnt in the market, i decided to cover.

I place 200 on Rest of the world at $3.10

the odds then changed up, not a real active market.

It ended up
Rest of world 1.35
US 2.00

So i took the 2.00 for the US and put $300 on.

I make $100 risk free, im happy with that.

If any player is going to make a run tomorrow and somehow catch McIlroy, I reckon it's Sergio Garcia. Some of his shot making today was sublime and was very unlucky not to be higher up the board after one shot hit the pin and a couple of others just caught tiny edges to force him further up the green. Coming from ten shots back is very difficult, though.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Probably a good thing that it did hit the pin. It was travelling like a bullet after being punched out from under some trees if it missed the pin altogether god knows where it ended up

Also taken garcia, Van pelt @ $41 also looks good value! After failing the first day seems to have really hit his straps in rounds 2 and 3, defenately would not be surprised to see him climb the leaderboard.
