Turn it up Pete, the last thing this site needs is another Golden Boy fan, hes driving like a learner these days and Jock Dunlop does nothing but make horses pull. MATHEW HARDING you cant be serious, drop the "HARDING" from his name and you wouldnt rate him in your top 100.
How do you explain a 3.5 for one of this states leading strike rates (Cavallaro) ???????, you dont have to like him as a driver but 3.5 is a bit harsh dont you think.

your off ya head, M(Bugs Bunny) Harding gets them out the mobile as good/probably better than anyone else in the state.
And if you want to go on strike rates which mean NOTHING YOU'D OBVIOUSLY have Gina 1, Cheryl Herman 2, and Ticket's Brown 3.

give me a spell!
i can't believe someone as smart as you come out with strike rates!

that's basic's to say that mal

my opinion number 2, and 3 on the list could easily be rated higher but both have one massive downfall, their ATTITUDES.

i'll put something to orange boy and ironman.
on my rating's my top 3 rated between them have 12 drives, so do the bottom 3 rated in the top 10.

we'll get Mal to do the stat's at the end of the day giving them 4points for a winner, 2 for 2nd and 1 for third.
and we'll test the top 10's

I'll back the top 3 week in week out, i'll cop evens of ironman or orange boy.
but none will bet cos one of them's probably driving horses, and the other is probably out delivering orange juice.

Well here you go CHIEFY,
15 drives today for Golden Boy, Mark WebsDERR and The Lone Ranger for a mere 1 win and 3 placings how piss poor is that ????????????

Paul Cavawizard drove 5 times for 2 wins and 2 placings hoooooooooooos ya daddy now Chiefy.
Thats right mate the states leading driver outdrove your chumps with a mere 5 drives, THEY had 15 between them.

Come to think of it Chiefy if you took a winner off Golden Boy for every unplaced fav he drove i reckon he would have -10 winners for the season.

What you forgot to mention was the fact he held the lead on his other drive ONYA GIRL, which has never been used up early an gone any good and ran out the back!!!!!!! Hand up to PRAESERVARE may of drove another place getter!!!!!!!!

One thing u should think about!!!!!!!!
A bloke (Harding) doesn't drive around 170 winners 2 years running by fluke. Lets us know when P Cav or Robbo get near those sort of numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COMBINED that is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have got to be joking....
One day doesn't make a driver a good one or a bad one!!
using your theory M Marais had one drive for one win > that makes him a better driver??

Paul Cavawizard hands up to no mere mortals. Give me a break, Onya Girl would have won but the track was loose everywhere she went and all 4 shoes fell off plus it raced fierce and had to pull 3 flat tyres not to mention the fact that her bridle fell off. Only the wizard could have steered that horse to a respectable 6th placing. Other drivers watched in awe as the wizard displayed his superior horsemanship to avert disaster.

Just use some of the lame excuses you are constantly using to defend the THREE STOOGES when they drive stinkers. Track was soft, horse pulled, couldnt steer it BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. :-k

And your mate Paul Cavallaro was driving 100/1 pops I suppose

I'm not saying Paul is a bad driver > but he's not as good as David Harding, not even close and never will be. Paul drives for the best stable(s) in the state and should be getting the winners he is - doesn't make him a better driver then David Harding and never will...

I've also heard from a number of sources that the Sergi / Carbone combination wouldn't have Paul drive for them, except for the problems it would cause with the rest of the family, especially his wife

On top of that - given some of the comments I was told were made from a stable owner recently (albeit 2nd hand), you have to think he's a very lucky bloke to be driving for Sergi / Carbone...

Chiefy why do you always bring my name up when Iron Man gives an opinion on a driver and assume i agree with him?????????????? Im yet to post any comment on any driver since i have joined this forum. Although i think Irom Man has some good and valid points, i dont share all his views and i too have an opinion of my own.
So obviously by popular demand here goes my top five best drivers (not in any order of rank)

1. David Harding(clearly our best driver in the state)
2. David Thuen
3. Ryan Hryhorec
4. Mark webster
5. Luke Alcorn(suprised no one could squeeze him into their top ten)

Top drivers is very subjective > I think Adelaide has one very good driver and a number of competent drivers.... and a number of incompetent drivers also! > Drivers that I wouldn't back under any circumstance...
*Cough* Scaffidi *Cough*

I agree with you though Orangeboy, Luke Alcorn is a very good driver when the money is on

I remember back a few years on a Tuesday night when Scaffidi held out one of Luke's (might have been Nickinholme) that was backed in from about $4 into about $1.50. They went a sub 45 second lead time over 2230m.. Mythical Mister got beat 400m and Luke's horse got beaten about 5m....

If I remember right - Luke was still talking to Scaffidi at the Village the next thursday night (not sure I would have been) > but was a fair bit lighter on the pocket....
