Trainer says it has a good chance. will try and lead all the way he reckons. Having said that, it will probably come last now.

Err, whoops, race 5 no. 5 at 4.07! Too many Melbourne Cup beers.... sorry! Obviously the 7 minutes past thing had me thinking race 7 or something.......actually I've no idea now in hindsight!!!

Thanks for your best wishes. Hopefully it'll run a place at least. I say that because so far our collective efforts are 4 horses, about 11 starts for a fourth ($400) over 4 years.

In a field of 7, after a good trial we're hoping for a good showing on Thursday.

After a scratching we finished third, a couple of lengths shy of Morning Sam (smart horse that one!).

Happy with the result because I thought it was shot 400 out but it ran on nicely. Looking for some more distance now I'd say.

After many moons, many dollars, and many awful attempts at getting a runner to a legitimate start (special call out to Dutchy with Call Centre - we're very envious!) we finally get a run with our 'new' runner Jeuluna on Thursday at Gawler. The horse originates from country Vic and has the record of "Career: 28-2-4-3 : $54,265." It's first up record is pretty good though - 6: 2, 1, 1.

It's breeding is pretty good, Jeune and Tennessee Moon, so obviously it's bred to stay, however in staying that, it's only wins are over the shorter distance. That's how much I know about racing!!!!!

Anyway, I'll be having a few bucks on it on Thursday at Gawler. Race 7, no 5.

It ran impressively for us in a jump out recently so we're hoping we have some vested interest in some races in the near future! Here's hoping.

Nice one Gadj, good luck with it. Just had a look at the replay of todays race and was a pretty good first up run. Keep us informed when its running.

Savvy is coming back into work soon, looking forward to seeing if it can improve again this prep.

Got an email update this morning, Savvy has enjoyed his time in the paddock and "grown/filled out" but is back in work in NSW and will come across here ready for racing around Christmas/New year.
