Dunno if anyone saw, but Neilson got dusted at Pt Augusta today.

Was sent out a nominal $1.33 favourite and looked like it would be impossible he could go under.

Got done by Jordan Frew

Just goes to show that anything can happen in the JCs.

Geelong:

Oliver -
R1 Looking for ground, good run last time on the Geelong Synthetic track - winning chance.
R2 Should just be winning.
R3 Luckless last time, wide barrier might be a problem but should be in placings.
R5 Smallish field. Place chance.
R7 Impessive last time, big step up in distance but will be hard to beat on breeding.
R9 Can't be dismissed, definite chance.
Should score 7-13

Symons -
R1 Good form on synthetic. Winning hope.
R2 Place chance.
R3 From a good yard, place chance.
R7 Another place chance.
R8 Another place chance.
R9 Another place chance.
Lots of chances, but none you would tip with real confidence to win, but Symons has a knack of getting longer odds runners home or into placings. Should find at least 5pts, but could find up to 10.

Brereton -
R3 Should be in the points.
R4 Hard to see it finding pts
R8 Chance
R9 Chance
Will be big odds and probably can't win

Rawiller
R1 - Big chance. Can win
R2 - From good yard, first starter.
R3 - Will storm home, might run a place.
R4 - Second up winner, big chance.
R5 - Clearly has ability if right.
R6 - Place chance.
R7 - Big chance.
Should score 6-11.

Yendall
R4 = good chance
R5 - good chance
R7 - Not overly keen
R9 - Good chance.

Can score 3-9

Very tough. Market looks about right.

Love-Wig, Newitt, Melham all have two very winnable rides, with a couple of place chances.
Can't see them getting to 10, which is where Oliver might be.
Very, very tough.
Need to give it more thought.

Pretty keen on a winning day, so am studying thoroughly.

Initially.... I would thought Rawiller was the only one to beat Oliver.
I give Hall a big chance.
I'm going to back him, with a saver on small LoveWig.

Hall's rides.
R2 - Chased home a very good horse on debut (look at Bedhrah's form)
R4 - Has been made a special and looks the right race.
R6 - Good race for it.
R7 - Unlucky in a much, much better race last start.
R8 - Hall's ridden this one for all of it's 3 wins.
R9 - Place hope.

I'm unloading on HALL.

May even wait and see what happens in R1 and go back for more.

Dodgey you reckon Geelong is hard, Townsville is the most open JC I can remember (I think anyway)
