the 8 is currently silly unders at the moment but the way to get some cash out of this race is anchor the 7 to fill in the exotic spot down to 4th and even take it winning for a small amount. its $16 win and $7 place at the moment but they wont hold up i dont think

I think that the speed and consistency of #3 HONDO SUPABOY is well positioned here. Outside the old STENWICK who will be slower out and move a little to the right, while SOUTHERN EXPRESS has a 27/8 record finishing inside the TOP 4 but ADE form and has missed start here before.

#4 CHEAP CHAMP is slower out, catish behaviour but loves to storm home and find a place. Gets a good draw for that. #5 MADAS SUZIE has been in weak company and pinged L/S. Can show pace, but this tough 2T track might be too much.

#7 TAIT BALE is the other one that can win for mine, drawn poorly though as will want the fence. May be aided by 4,6 lack of pace. But is strong here and will be motoring back-straight.

I will be watching fixed odds place on TAIT BALE.

Problem with #4 is lack of winning when coming from behind. And poorly drawn, if she cannot cross #3 initially may be over and fades away being pushed off T1 and T2. They will out-muscle her if she cannot get clear T1

Looking for punters to react in certain races to give some value here. Little concerned about CASBOULT 2T ability that is why so poorly rated here, and will also want to get across to the rails.

As for ETEL ALLEN is the class in this field and you have to respect that. Should find room early with #5 slow out. #3 might miss kick due to Wenty/Mead box length.

Quaddie inside all top 4 ratings, pays 3.8k. Gettable. But alas, I only had 1,6,7 in the last leg. Did have a saver bet on #4 though. So all was not lost.

I was staring at 20% of the quaddie. So I only managed to have $50 as a save. So collected just under half of what I really should have + an extra $50 spent in betting.

But still a profitable day.

The worry for my handicapping is #6,8. The city form of #8 can transpire into good WGL form. So will have to watch betting patterns.

As for the race. SHE'S APPLES can lead this field and won't weaken like the other leader #7.

There are some interesting runners #4,5 who have been supported in betting before and both just need a bit of luck. Will depend how much #7 moves to the rails.

But I expect #9 to lead.
