How do i summise whats happened
Now that the G+ L day has been recindered, will the public be miffed ?
Will the G + Ls be upset ?

In the end the Members, the people who put $$$ into racing, who roll up and support the club, had the last say
Irrespective of anyones opinion, the members whether they are right or wrong had the right to veto this

Its a bit like shareholders of a company, outsiders can say what they like, but shareholders/members deserve the right to oppose anything they see fit

Yep - without knowing anything about the internal workings of the organisation, I dare say that this sort of event would have sought and received approval at the highest levels before it proceeded.
