One of the most even meetings I've seen on the JC.

All jockeys have very similar cards, one or two good rides, one or two average rides.

I guess with that being said anyone at odds is the value but good luck picking a clear winner

gold coast is an intresting one, dont think ive seen anyone at $1.12 before race 1
like you say cant really lose
however im going to have a small speculator on Matthew palmer @ $31(there is a michael palmer as well)
growler has tipped his race 1 ride Danah Rose and race 2 looks promising as well
a couple more rides later on so at $31 i will have a small bet and will check the quinella for him and colless

Agree Al, thought I might take him in the quinella with Colless if they offer it on Sportingbet

Usually though when a favorite is so short, Sportingbet dont put up a quinella market.

Reckon the market looks about right in Melb, AOJ and Noonan should be hard to beat .. Have had a little nibble at Hall though for interest, 4 rides for 4 chances imho.

Can't see any other way to play Sandown other than backing Nolen after R2.

Balaklava

Really like Frew at 26 alot and Hopwood at 7s

Always feel like AOJ has a good shot at Balaklava with lots of Roughies getting up. At 21s seems ok to me.

I've backed him plenty of times when he has had good rides and should've been a single-figure odds shot, but was at $20-$30.

Has never done the right thing by me, though. But definitely agree, he has the rides today at those odds... Hmmm.

Going with Frew and Tourneur at long odds at Balak.

Had a good look at Tourneur's rides - 3 strong chances (which have probably flown under the radar) + 2 which are out of form but stepping up big in distance and might be place chances.
