Just questioned as to why he was still The first choice jockey and perhaps we try get the previously winning jockey back on(kicked off for no reason) or another more high profile jock in the area.
I was told to get a grip and he didn’t want to deal with me as I wasn’t the one who was down as manager on our groups name.( Been a group of over 3-5 of us For over 10 years)

Can I ask which jockey you’re talking about?

Michael Rodd was kicked off with no reasoning other than he was on holiday(which wasn’t true he had a full book of rides that day)

Winner might be a smart horse. They ran along a big faster up front than anticipated

Correct, would have been nice to have rides like that earlier in the prep. Getting long into the prep now.
Callow, Maloney and Orman just give them the best chance up there.
