I belive that #3 will be the most improved runner in the field. Draw exceptionally well and run at Ballarat and Geelong show is good enough to easily lead this field. That is the major drawcard for me, is the clear distinction in pace difference to T1. And will suit at Geelong.

I am hoping they throw up $9 fixed on the TAB.

The inside boxes are drawn to suit at this track and both can show the pace to hold out the other runners. #3 is hit/miss #4,5 are slow. #7 has to cross to win here as won't want to get bumped. #6 can improve if jumps slightly better, but still runs on ok.

They should be a few lengths better off than the rest of the field.

#3 has the best draw of the race, with slow beginners on inside 1,2 - means gets best chance to lead and does best racing when does so. The problem for the other runners is that there is close to equal pace from 4,5,6,7,8 which makes life difficult for #8 - as TEE MURPHY can show great initial dash. And does like to race out-wide a little bit. But on ability #8 has these covered.

Interesting race. GO wide for exotics will be value about in this one.

Well there isn't a great deal of pace in this race for mine. I do see that 5,6 are drawn to suit. Being outside #4 and inside 7,8 boxes. This is going to play to their advantage as they are much stronger.

#2 GYPSY RAMA does need room early on in race and does like to drop down a little bit, with #1 returning from a spell and did have previous ability there might be a tussle for the rail position.

I do like #5,6 running around the outside of 1,2 at T1. And being stronger in the finish. If they come for #1 in the market, must be ready to return winning......

An interesting race this one. I can't quite work out #1 when mind is on the job, can ping the lids and when wants to run home, she can. But when she doens't want to run. It is a poor performance. Strange animal that one.

#2 has ability, but not the early speed and can get caught up - but with the early speed of #5 out and with Planet Pluto and Fitzy a bit weaker paves the way for SPectrum to kick on.

When I looked at the fields on Wednesday. I originally had:

6-7-3-4-1-3-2-8 for dogs that I know based on memory.

For me, this was a really difficult race to decide. El Black Galo can be a complete cat at the best of times. I have seen him in a great position to win and simply gives up. I thought got a bit of luck last week and the 17.21 run wasn't that impressive. If I got my scratchings right, it would have been in for a place - but this animal hasn't won since 2011.

Sure #4 is slow out - trainer has had some issues with runners in kennel with illness - not sure if that will impact.

This is a mixed race. Stefanos always brings runners capable of winning here. #2 hasn't been impressive here and trainer says isn't best in kennel. Sunset Magic needs to switch brain on after last week, trainer likes it here though.

King of Kaching with the straight track at home and after a good run here in March will definitely improve - you can see kennel thought was great chance that day/

Casboult was a huge run for mine, will want to move across to the rails. As will #8. But that will be ok.

RACE 3

Don't be surprised if #3 gets backed hard in this race. Look at the owner and the trainer and their ability at HVL - The pace says will win. Will try and get some final info this morning. But I have on top.

I really think #4 ROCK YA BONES is suited to run better here today. Look at the field and their attributes. #2 will go wide, #3 will ping and head to rails. #5 will miss, #6 is slow, #7 gets back, but will improve and #8 has to cross the entire field.

Looking at how much room #4 will get really does interest me.

This is really a race of 3. I know the 350m is different to the 300m by a big margin and HILLVIEW JAKES run can be ignored, but I just see #2 ZEUS getting a perfect cart into the race by #1 who is mad for the rails and with #3 slow out and the only other runner coming across being 7 it makes it a race in 3.

I think they should run the trifecta for sure.

Drawn the rails and is inside a runner who must jump in this race otherwise will fade badly again. #3 runs on and will get room with #1,2 jumping. Will improve. #6 is the other runner who with pace can run well, will need to cross #5 early on. May be the runner I get completely wrong. But 6 starts 0-0-0 isn't a good indication.....

I find this field easy to separate once again.

#10 heads off the track / #6 heads in to middle / #8 heads to rails / #2 will move out for mine / #1 will be strong on the rails kennel in good form / #3 will run true and benefit from Box 3 / #5 has to jump / #7 MUST jump...

Take the FIELD for the quaddie.

#6 can lead here, but does fade quite badly in the final stages.

I am a fan of #4 here has faced better company and isn't drawn near any speed for mine and should find a good early position and be too strong for these,

#1 will improve on the rails and punters continually underrate #2 here for some reason..... Will be in the mix for sure.

The 6 gives #7 room at the start which is key to moving closer to the rail.

#4 Pings and leads these. #3 is also strong and always jumps straight. #1 will enjoy the rails for sure and improve again. Not too far behind these on HVL ability either. #6 enjoys being drawn here, will want to move off a little bit and with all the pace on the inside will get clear room to move at about the 100m mark. #8 is a rails runner the draw is poor even though has good ability here. #7 can jump but isn't as strong as the others in final stages.

Good exotic race for mine. #4 is no sure thing this time out, but will be damn hard to beat.

I am scared of this race the way I have handicapped it. I have seen HOREYS HOUND fail so badly here despite such good strong Bendigo form. Gets another chance here today, but last effort was dismall should have won as jumped.....

#1 I am scared simply for the reason that 350m good form doesn't translate into 300m first up form. That worries me a lot. Otherwise if had a run at 300m before, I would have had shorter.

#7 the trainer goes well here and runners have always been here. Expect to jump.

#6 will improve, #5 heads off the track, but can be speedy, this gives cover to #4 who will appreciate #3 being slow, #2 head to rails and be cat like while #1 rails and could miss start. #4 doesn't have the best ability, but is perfectly drawn.

Key to race #2. I would watch market and see what woof says as can win..... despite what my market says. But I am banking on losing, will have exotics for 3rd if I could.

#2 Pings and fades here, #4 is slow and runs on - #1 is strong and has ok F/S runs for this distance. Benefits from outside boxes and will hunt down #2 . #5 likes it here and is drawn perfectly. #6 will begin ok but moves off a bit, while #7 heads to the rails and #8 can ping here and benefit from draw.

Basically if I can read the race right, there will be huge value about #1,#5,#8.
