did anyone see race 2 at canterbury???

legsman, under the whip from the half mile, and basically was goneski at the turn and ended up winning

the 10 - hot snap which got a soft run was the disappointing run of the race

1st and 2nd were blackies, so a good result for me, although would have been better if they switched places (which looked a certainty in the straight)

Just had to rewatch the replay of embarrassed win its debut run and it was just as impressive as I remembered. It led by 4 lengths and won by 3. Doubt it will get such a jump on them today but it will still lead. A definite win only bet, wouldnt be taking the $1.60 its showing now though, perhaps $2.50.

It won by about 2-2.5 lengths CP, never really challenged after leading the entire way. A bit disappointed in the divvy, I usually make bets like these my main bets as you generally get 60-80 cents more a divvy than you do next start (providing it doest go up in grade). Impressive maiden winners pay $2-3 compared to winners of their first 2 starts who dont generally get over $2.

Put a couple hundred on at the $2.30 it opened at with plans to hav a bigger crack but it never drifted so my didnt outlay any more. Will have a small place bet on Dr Remlap in NR5 with my winnings.

Scone R4-1 is a nice horse. Its going to be short though. Might have a look tomorrow if the odds ease a little.
