Got a couple of great shots of Apache Cat, will see if I can work out how to post them from a mobile though. Lovely, striking horse.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

What an unbeleivable day.

Got a cab from airport into the city then up to Balaklava, it cost us $150 which was ok.

4 other mates in the horse left Echuca at 4am and got there about noon.

Andy was very confident old Hads would be running on if there was pace in the race, which thankfully there was .

When Haddle hit the front at about 80 from home i near fell out of the Grandstand.

To win a couple in Melbourne was great but to win this fantastic historical cup is something my friends and i will never ever forget.

The hospitality we recieved from the Club and Committee were second to none.

They were genuinly happy that we had made the trip over the border even though we are dirty Vics that most hard S.A fans hate.

A big THANKYOU to all posters who wished us well and for all your congratulations.

Winning your cup turned grown men into blabbering babies, i openly admit i wiped a couple of tears away.

We have made a pact to return to the Balaklava Cup every year and relive one of the happiest days of our lives.

We think the old boy will go around again on Friday night at MOONEY VALLEY before the AFL Grand Final.

Thanks again and may you all back many winners.

Cheers Craig ;)

Looks like old Haddle is off to the Murray Bridge Cup next.
Do any posters make the trip to the bridge for the Cup ?
Do they get the great crowd that the Balaklava Cup gets ?

So looks like another trip West for the Haddle connections.
Andy will have the old boy primed to swoop down the outside again.
Like i posted last time you'll get a run for your money if your on the 9 year old.
