Just wondering where I'd find the 'odds/market' for this event.

I've done an internet search but can't find anything :-??

Hoping one of you might know.

Thankyou

found this A MUM - not that it is what you asked ;)

$125,000 Australian Open, Shepparton Park & Mooroopna bowls clubs, VIC.

$125,000 Australian Open, Shepparton Park & Mooroopna bowls clubs, VIC.

Where the stars shine brightly!

The top-five female players on the planet will battle it out at next month’s Australian Open following the acquisition of world number one Val Smith.

In a stunning coup, the $125,000 event will not only boast New Zealand’s reigning World Champion, but each and every one of the game’s top five, including Guernsey superstar Alison Merrien (two), as well as defending champion Kelsey Cottrell (three) and her Australian teammate Karen Murphy (five).

Malaysia’s Siti Zalina Ahmad, ranked number four in the world, has also accepted a wildcard into the main draw, adding further class to what is already a star-studded field.

With the English Commonwealth Games team also in attendance, including world number 12 Ellen Faulkner, and the entire Australian squad, there is not another tournament on the globe that can boast the caliber of talent as the up-coming Australian Open.

“I’ll be giving it my best shot,” an upbeat Smith said from across the Tasman today.

“It’s a tough field. I’d love to win it.”

Having captured last year’s World Championship on home soil, Smith, who is making her first appearance at the event since 2007, is a welcome addition to the main draw and will be joined by her Black Jack teammates Jan Khan and Clare McCaul.

While Ahmad, who has won the past two Commonwealth Games gold medals, will once again return after hoisting the trophy aloft in 2007 before losing an epic final the following year to NSW’s Katrina Wright.

According to Smith, there will be no easy games on offer.

“Anyone can beat anyone on their day,” the Black Jacks ace said.

“I’ve never played at Shepparton before but it’s always nice going to a new club and hopefully I can do well.”

A multi-discipline tournament, the Australian Open features singles, pairs and triples for both men and women, with the competition running from February 14 to 20.

Thankyou for trying to find it MT79 O:)

There was a market but I reckon they've taken it down.
Maybe someone will put one up when there's 16 left or so.

Was asking because our young South Aussie 15 year old knocked off the world number 1 yesterday to make it through to the round of 32.

Was wondering what his 'odds' might be :D

O:)

Alright then...lol :D

Still don't know about any odds... but....

I'm mostly following the 'kids' - so not sure much about how the South Aussie adults are going.....

Yesterday one of our 16 year old girls won her first game, but lost her second game by 1 shot in a tie breaker so she's out :(
Today 3 of our U18 girls played in the triples and won their first game, but unfortunately lost their second so are out :(

Young Nathan (the one who knocked out the world No1) doesn't play again until Wednesday.

And the U18 section of the event with our other South Aussie kids starts Thursday.

I can keep you updated if you're interested O:)

I'd love to Nathan continue on.

It's too nervewracking - I might have to ring someone who's there and find out what's going on

This is where the odds originally were before they were taken down:

Nathan would have been huge odds !
