no tips as not doing the form as i am dissillusioned with the whole set up from top to bottom, i think when you get to 3 strikes your out

1, the brother moon fiasco = punter not protected by the stewards,it had to be either a non runner or a no race
2, team racing = (i don't blame stables for doing it) but to have the stewards (to my knowledge) not even ask a question is baffling to say the least
3, the radiant storm fiasco = well the punter not protected again, if you backed hurrells horse or radiant storm you were screwed, screwed with hurrells horse by hurrells cheating/incompetence, while radiant storm went from leading to 4th which changed the complexion of the race

i wonder where dr dre has been ? the poor little bugger wouldn't know where he is he'd still be dizzy, one week kick up at all cost then 7 days later the handbrake was on in the score up

yes i'll still watch them as i like the spectacle & might go out there every now & then for a night out but to punt no thanks, i have no confidence in what happens from the top downwards as there is no protection for the punter, i'll still punt on the footy (sanfl) because at least the umpires make decisions & most of the time they are correct unlike the afl umpires
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Can understand where your going BAYMAN.
This is likely to continue if stewards and head honchos dont address the issues.

Why do you think there have been no previews from me recently Bayman??

I can honestly say my spend on SA meetings has halved in the last 3 - 4 months.. I have had enough of the garbage being dished up in SA, so have stopped betting. I used to love SA harness racing, for the smallish horse pool, trainers and drivers - which made doing form easier then in Melb or any other state..

I say the Stewards have a lot to answer for... It's a common thought in Adelaide that a few on the panel are there to ensure they have enough for retirement and don't give a ... about anyone or anything else.

Let's list a few acheivements they have been able to accomplish in the past few months;

Enabled Stable Driving to go unpunished
Allowed the "Radiant Storm" and "Brother Moon" disgraceful situations happen
Continued with "random barrier draws" - where the same horses draw the same patterns

And the BIGGEST SCANDLE OF ALL from my sources being

ALLEGEDLY have had a couple of positive swabs from drivers go "missing".
In addition have Allegedly allowed female drivers to be swabbed without supervision or someone standing out the front (which has enabled various people to get the job done for them).
For the safety of all horses and drivers this thought is just scary!!

BAYMANS and SCDs thoughts are pretty much why i lost interest........................

just to answer a few pm's i'm getting, these decisions imho make me think that those in charge think that punters will accept anything & everything (true to a degree) but i will not insult my intelligence by accepting BLATANTLY WRONG DECISIONS, it's comical that these clowns are in charge & don't worry about what is RIGHT, they just worry about TURNOVER, well this saturday night little bayman & i will go & see clowns on saturday night, the clowns at 'silvers circus' next to the marion shopping centre & i bet those clowns will do their job PROPERLY

LATE MAL

No late mal selections

RACE COMMENTS

R2-3 BORN TO GROOVE [$1-70]
hard to beat will be there in the finish
about the right odds but no value
EXOTICS

R4-5 BOYSY [$1-60]
enigmatic but talented pacer, can turn it up can go brilliant
one thing it will do is be in the finish again
those odds are too cheap for me
EXOTICS

R8-8 FIFTY GORILLAS[$1-40]
was racing greenly but more reliable in its gait now
brave men take $1-40, I wouldnt
still it looks very hard to beat
EXOTICS

The above 3 are all good pacers
All very likely to be placed if not winning
If we fluked EW we should all charrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrge
I would suggest if all are in the red odds to trust them in exotics
If black odds worth a punt

BOYCOTT
_________

I can understand why people are disillusioned with the recent spate of
controversial incidents and have been put off punting and tipping.
But I will continue to support the industry even though I am also
apprehensive over some instances of late.
G/BAYMAN/SCD/STRUTTER/MT79
Take the bad with the mainly good is my advice

Race 7 is a race which may be another controversy tonight .....
I wont bet in this race excepting its the last leg of the quaddie

MAL - I have taken the bad with the good with my punting over a number of years...
When horses Gallop / get held up or improve one week and I don't back them, I kept coming back and spending my money on them...

BUT you can't honestly expect me or others serious enough about gambling to bet into a meeting where horses denied a fair start or disadvantaged by 40-50m (and lose by 2m) are called runners because they are deemed to not be "unfairly" disadvantaged. May as well go and buy Lottery tickets, because you have more chance of picking the numbers in 1 then working out a decision made in the stewards room at the moment :? :?

I will have a small bet here and there on horses I like from the right draws - but no more big bets or previews anymore because I don't trust anything that is going on..

My "support" for the industry will be the small ownership I will keep in a horse or two, but until a number of issues are sorted out at HRSA, then i'm not interested.

SCD most races are FORTUNEatley run appropriately.
When most races are run inappropriately I will join the boycott.

I gave up betting on SA Greyhounds for differing reasons but a similar ideology to yours.
Too many SA dog races became guess work for me so I stopped
As I will at the Trots if thats the case.

In general the controversies are isolated at the trots to a race here and there
Team driving
Lack of steward activity
These races are very occasional [thank goodness] at this stage.

Dont forget
RADIANT STORM
BROTHER MOON
have been ripped off in recent times
BUT
Plenty of people were on the winners of those races as well
Sometimes we and others prosper from the controversies

TIPS FOR TODAY AND TONIGHT
MT Race 6 # 1 If cant win today where to next.
VT Race 5 # 10 checked last time was unlucky
AT RACE 6 # 6 should win if driven for one late run.
AT race 4 # 5 would love to see this horse driven cold and use his sheer speed as not convinced he is geniune but doubt if we will see him driven like that tonight
AT race 8 # 8 only has to not fall over to win # 7 should run second if he dosent try to beat the # 8 only has to beat the rest
