Not sure if I heard correctly but apparently he has passed away at age 89

trained a few winners in his day
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

He trained just a few winners ..
Think he was 92.. One of the last old shool trainers.
Remembering winning plenty on one of his better nags in Diatribe.

yep scoob is correct passed away at aged 92 in a geelong nursing home, obviously one of the greats & i wonder how many realise he actually came from south australia & therefore started his training career in adelaide
