Your on the money bayman comes across really smug. IMO not the best tipster either. Alf Matthews is a good tipster.

Perhaps not the ideal topic, but I'll put it here in case it's of interest to anyone.

I was messing around the other week with a few trifecta's based upon the Unitab's experts selections, and whether I've just done it at a lucky time I'm not sure, but it has proven very profitable over the space of say 2 weeks .. Obviously a little more study is required, but what seems to be the ideal situation is an example like this:

RadioTab selects 1-2-3-4

Brendan Tupper (for eg.) selects 1-2-3-5

Then box the 5 horses, let's say for $10 which offers a %16.666 of the dividend.

Obviously if the 5 horses were the 5 favourites I wouldn't do it, but there seems to be good value at a lot of the regional meets where not many of the better horses are going around.

I played a couple where I thought there wasn't enough value out in the bush, and replaced a selection with something rough that one of the better jockeys was riding.

Quite often the Trify when it lands in these situations will hit $1,000+ earning approx $16.66 per dollar invested.

Like I said, might have just been a lucky period but it's worked out pretty nicely for me thus far so thought I'd throw it out there.

Following any tipsters tips for the daily card weekly, monthly, yearly is not viable
I will stand corrected, no tipster can show a profit in the long run

However following a tipsters best bets, may show a profit in the long run

Seriously what could he possibly know about the obscure tracks across the other side of the country like Port Lincoln, Mt Gambier, and the bush tracks in WA etc yet hes touted as an "ëxpert" with inside knowledge at all these places

Brassell just looks at the form and a few replays and makes his own assesment. Hell..... anyone can do that if you have the time.
Stick to the locals who watch trials, know trackwork info and speak to the trainers/trackwork riders.

Agree and disagree with brassel. He does the form well and I think you find he tips in every race cause that's his job. If you spoke to him he probably wouldn't tip you a horse at Lincoln and wouldn't even have a bet there himself. He would do extremely well on the punt don't worry about that.
All I know is that this Johno character on here has absolutely no idea about how to tip a winner. Mate give up punting cause there is no way in hell you ever make a profit.

I have no doubt AG would make money in Port Lincoln over years of punting. With his contacts and visits to the region he would be well in front.
