Basically what Mr. Wilkinson said was Overloaded was full of SH*T. Yes there were a FEW complaints from within the membership. No a marketing person will not be shown the door. No Mr Loch did not call an emergency meeting, in fact was supportive of the promotion to the extent that the stewards panel were prepared to wear PINK ties if they could be purchased but they were difficult to procure in Adelaide this week for some reason ??. But most importantly stated that the day was always planned and marketed as Pink Diamond Race Day in conjunction with the McGrath Foundation a charity you would hope even our fellow forumite Overthehill would agree is very worthy of support. Upon realising this day corresponded with the Feast Festival being held in Adelaide this week contact was made with those organising the festival informing of the day, its theme and that they were welcome to attend. Unfortunately judging by posts after the event it is a shame it hasnt been as successful as the cause deserved, hopefully people werent deterred from going by Overthetop and his cronies over reaction/.
