by the 2 clubs KA + HW the performances of both clubs have since been good.

Posted: Sun May 06, 2007 2:21 amI was at the match tonight (last night) and must say that North Melbourne were deserving winners. As for style of play, they were still attacking at the end when they should have been chipping around. The team appears to be playing on instinct.
It IS a long season, so I'm not conceding my wooden spoon prediction is wrong just yet, but confidence is a wonderful thing.
Edwards had a fantastic game, McIntosh is coming along nicely, Swallow is hard at it - consistency is the challenge for players of this ilk now. At one point in the final quarter tonight, the Roos had Simpson and Archer on the bench - a vote of confidence there for the younger players. Also impressive was the winning of the game by bobbing up with goals when the Swans looked like they might steamroll them.
